We all know the story …at least a part of it …..we all know about the pain and grief caused by the division of the city Berlin. The physical wall is gone a long time, the separation in the heads and hearts …it is a question of time …. will they ever vanish??

The wall went literally and physically through the living room of some families home living in Berlin on the 13th.08.1961.

Since then until the 09.11.1989 the wall was present and visible for everyone.

Step by step they demolished the wall and today, if you want to have a glance at what is left …. you have to search hard for it.

We show you what remained of it and you gain an impression of a live lived in a divided city.

You get to see the strip of death where the landmines were hidden, which killed way too many people who tried to escape.
