On the way
to Dresden, what will take us about 2 hours, we can drop by Moritzburg, a palace built in Renaissance-style.
The first
longer stop would be in Meißen. We will visit the factory of the excellent porcelain, which Meißen is worldwide known for.
If you are up
for a wine tasting we strongly recommend to nip down to the winery Wackerbarth.
Dresden with its very special elegance is a real pearl in the province Brandenburg.
Beside baroque architectural monuments and mediterranean architecture, Dresden offers museums with precious art treasures and charming waterfronts along the river Elbe.
worth seeing: Semperoper, Zwinger - picture galerie (old masters), Albertinum - picture galerie (new masters and sculpture collection), the Royal Palace, the reconstructed Frauenkirche which was totally destroyed during the 2nd world war
If you wish we can of course organise this tour in reversed order.
duration: 12-14 hrs
If you choose to continue your journey to Prague it would be our pleasure.
